Weeky and bi-weekly lenses

Both these lens families are worn for several days in a row, unlike daily lenses: weekly lenses are replaced every 7 days, bi-weekly lenses every 14 days. In both cases, the lens is removed, cleaned, and stored each night with a suitable cleaning solution before being worn again the next day.

The main difference is how long each pair lasts: a weekly lens pair is replaced after 7 days, a bi-weekly pair after 14 days. The more frequently you replace your lenses, the less buildup (protein and lipid deposits) accumulates on the lens, which contributes to better comfort and hygiene.

This isn't recommended. A lens has the same lifespan whether it's worn every day or only occasionally: the countdown starts as soon as the blister pack is opened, not just from actual wear time. Wearing a lens beyond its intended lifespan wears down the material and increases the risk of discomfort or irritation. Always follow the replacement schedule indicated on the packaging.

Each evening, clean and rinse your lenses with the recommended cleaning solution, then store them in a clean case filled with fresh solution. This step is essential for removing the buildup that accumulates during the day and ensuring a clean, comfortable lens for the next day.
