Ultra contact lenses

The Ultra family from Bausch + Lomb includes monthly and daily lenses. The monthly lenses are made from Samfilcon A, a silicone hydrogel, and use MoistureSeal technology. The Ultra One Day daily lenses are made from Kalifilcon A, also a silicone hydrogel, and combine Advanced MoistureSeal with ComfortFeel technology. Monthly lenses

• Ultra: the spherical version, for wearers without astigmatism or presbyopia.

• Ultra for Astigmatism: for astigmatism.

• Ultra for Presbyopia: for presbyopia.

• Ultra Multifocal for Astigmatism: for astigmatism and presbyopia together.

Daily lenses

• Ultra One Day: the spherical version.

• Ultra One Day Multifocal: for presbyopia.

A daily lens is worn for one day and thrown away in the evening: no cleaning, no storage. A monthly lens is used for one month, with regular cleaning and storage in a suitable solution.

MoistureSeal is the name of a Bausch + Lomb technology designed to help the lens keep its moisture. It is used in the Ultra monthly lenses, and in an advanced form (Advanced MoistureSeal) in Ultra One Day.

Ultra monthly lenses come in a box of 6. Ultra One Day and Ultra One Day Multifocal are available in boxes of 30 and 90.
